Donna Burk - never in my life would I have thought God would give me a passion for incarcerated women yet He only wants a vessel to work through.  I have seen the hurt, worthlessness, and rejection on their faces and in their words.  IF we are not the light to give them Hope that God restores and sees them as His daughters, then who will? It seems they are trying to hide; wanting to be sought; and confused about being found.   God continues to use this bold, ‘cracked pot’ to let His light shine.  I am forever grateful for the 55+ women and our CrossTalk team He has blessed me with!

Diane King - I got involved in Crosstalk because God has given me so much hope in my life, even though I grew up the child of an alcoholic mother. I just want to share Hope and Redemption with women who struggle with addiction, sin, and difficulty in general. I believe in being candid about the Christian life in dealing with sin, forgiveness, love, and obedience. If we aren't transparent with the incarcerated women, they will think we are better than them, and we are not. The ground is level at the foot of the Cross of Christ. Everyone finds forgiveness and hope there.

Kathy Arnold - I had been praying for almost 5 years for the Lord to lead me to a ministry where I could serve Him. Nothing seemed to fit. Never in a million years would I have imagined CrossTalk was where the Lord wanted me....but it is. What a wonderful opportunity to plant seeds. The girls I write are a blessing to me and I praise God for this opportunity to serve.

Kayla Hardin – It is my heart to help reach out and share the gospel with people of all walks of life. God has given me an opportunity to do this with the ladies of Cross Talk. I have been shown that despite the plan you think you have for yourself God will show you differently and He will take you on an amazing journey!

Teresa Bell – It doesn’t matter where we are in our different stages of life…God can reach us with His tremendous love wherever we are and touch our lives for His glory. I got involved with Crosstalk because I want to be used by God to reach out and touch the lives of those whom most think are unreachable and share with them the love of Christ. Read more...

Donna Huth - I am just trying to be a servant to our Lord and follow in his footsteps.

Mercedes – To share with my imprisoned sisters the mending power of the Cross, "That having suffered a little, the God of all grace, who has called them to share His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself restore them and make them strong, firm and steadfast." 1 Peter 5:10

Maureen Bradley – I got involved because I think it is a very worthwhile opportunity to encourage new women Christians as they go through a valley time in their life.

Angie Pfennig - Joining Crosstalk for me was a blessing at a time in my life when I felt like I had nothing to give. Letting the girls know that God loves them no matter where they are in their lives is very rewarding. Watching lives transform is what we all yearn for as Christians and I know that God is there with us week after week. The laughter, the tears, the bonding is all God's GRACE and MERCY in action.

Nicole Talley - I got involved with Crosstalk approximately 2 years ago after my sister was sentenced to prison.  When she was in the county jail she always talked about the women that came on Wednesday nights.  She expressed how they were real and they did not judge any of the women in there.  Since my sister was a baby Christian it was such a blessing to me that this group was there to help her walk through this journey. Read more...

Jackie Morales - I had so many years of regret from my past where I was an addict. Even after I had gotten saved, I tried to do everything all on my own; living selfishly for me, me, me. Then, a few years ago I finally had a revelation and started taking my relationship with the Lord seriously, gaining a new perspective on the TRUTH that is offered to us all. I had always felt a "tug" within me to do greater things, to help on a grander scale. Read more...

Kathy Pettengill - I got involved with Crosstalk because I felt in my heart that the Lord was leading me in that direction. He knew that I could relate with these lost woman and their circumstances and, that I wanted to let them know that they were loved and that they were rescued and ready for the road to recovery through our Lord Jesus Christ. I wanted to serve our God by planting the seed and watching it grow.  Read more...

Shelly Sickles - "God has provided an opportunity for Christian women to reach out to those who have lost their way and help them find themselves in the Lord. To be able to offer encouragement and Godly counsel to hurting women is a blessing to each of us who are fortunate enough to be a part of this blessed ministry."

Mayra Talavera – I participate at CrossTalk because it’s one of my calls. Since I was a little girl, my grandfather had a special affection for the people who were in jail, and from that age I was also touched by the Lord to serve in that area. It is a privilege for me to go visit these ladies, from whom I get a lot of love, understanding and prayers, they have special place in my heart. I thank God for putting in my path Donna, Diane and the rest of the ladies that make up this wonderful ministry!

Crystal White - I joined CrossTalk because I wanted to be able to share the freedom of Christ with other women. Everyone has an opportunity to become new in Jesus and I feel fortunate to be able to share with these ladies.

Shawn Chandler - I wanted to join Cross Talk because I felt thats  where the Lord was leading me, to help women that are hurting and share His amazing love for us with them.
